This study investigates the impact of digital payment on purchase intentions among Filipino Gen Z and Millennials by utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It explores perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, perceived security, and satisfaction as key factors. Hypotheses indicate that these variables significantly influence user satisfaction, which positively drives purchase intentions. Six variables—trust (T), perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), satisfaction (S), perceived security (PS), were measured using scales from Tay et al. (2022), and purchase intention (PI) from Ponte et al. (2015), respectively. These factors were rated on a five-point Likert scale, from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). The survey was created using Google Forms and distributed online via Facebook using convenience sampling. A pilot test with 33 participants yielded 30 eligible responses for reliability testing. Subsequently, actual data gathering involved 531 respondents, resulting in 457 usable data points, which were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software.
